About Us
Founded in 1983, the Contact and Consultation Center for Refugees and Migrants in Berlin-Kreuzberg (Kontakt- und Beratungsstelle für Flüchtlinge und MigrantInnen e.V. – KuB) is a registered non-profit association, whose purpose it is to provide support and consultation services for refugees and migrants from all over the world, in matters concerning not only social and residence law, but also psychosocial and other existential questions. Our central aim is to assist refugees and migrants who consult us in their efforts to lead independent and self-determined lives in Germany, and to help them establish the essential foundations of the legal, psychological, and existential kind. Our method is based on a holistic, people-focused conception of social work, and we pursue a rigorously addressee-oriented approach. Our Team
Matching the diversity among our addressees, our team is made up of people from a variety of national and cultural backgrounds. They come not only from different parts of the world but also from a wide array of professional fields: Lawyers, social workers, family consultants, psychologists, graduates in German studies, cultural studies, and social science, art therapists, theater pedagogues, an It engineer, as well as students from a range of different fields.Arbeitsweise und Organisationsstruktur

Geschichte der KuB
There are no translations available.
